Arthur Frank Wertheim (22 December 1935 - 24 November 2020) was a scholar in the United States.

Early life

Arthur Frank Wertheim, born 22 December 1935 in

Webb School of California in Claremont, California.[2]

In 1957, Werthheim received a B.A. from Yale University.[1] At New York University Werthheim received an M.A. in 1967 and a Ph.D. in 1970.[1]

Career

From 1971 to 1978 Wertheim was an assistant professor of American Studies at the

Fulbright professor of American studies for one year, 1978–79.[1] He then was Director of Development Communications within University Relations at the University of California, Los Angeles.[1]

Personal life

Wertheim married Carol J. Youngberg, on 4 February 1972, later, a social science teacher at Roosevelt Junior High School[3] in Glendale, and had a son, Jason Albert.[1] and lived in Silver Lake.[3]
