Austefjord Church (

long church design in 1879 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 150 people.[1][2]

History

The church was originally built in 1773 (some sources say 1766) in the village of

consecrated on 1 July 1880 by the local parish priest Lars Gledistch. Originally, the church was painted red, but later this was changed to white.[3][4][5]
