The team leading at halftime is 13–0 in BCS National Championship Games. (In the 2009 game, Florida and Oklahoma were tied at halftime.)[1]
Fourteen Heisman Trophy winners have appeared in BCS Bowl Games, with twelve competing for the national championship. (Eleven appeared in the year that they won). Two Heisman Trophy winners have appeared in two BCS bowl games (Jason White in 2004 and 2005, and Matt Leinart in 2005 and 2006).[1] Their teams have gone 6–8 in those games.[2]
