Belaid Abdessalam (
Arabic: بلعيد عبد السلام; 20 July 1928 – 27 June 2020) was an Algerian politician, who served as Prime Minister
from 1992 to 1993.
Biography
Abdessalam was born in
Minister of Finance.[2]
During his tenure, the Islamist rebels intensified.[3]
On 27 June 2020, he died at Ain Naadja military hospital in Algiers, aged 91.[1][4][5]
