Willie Joseph Horne (February 20, 1916 – November 1969) was an American
Negro league infielder
between 1938 and 1946.
A native of
US Army during World War II.[1] Horne went on to play for the Cincinnati Buckeyes in 1942, and remained with the club for four more seasons as it moved to Cleveland.[2][3]
He died in New Orleans in 1969 at age 53.
