Brian Alderson (children's book critic)
Brian Alderson (born 1930) is an author, translator,children's books editor for The Times. He founded the Children's Books History Society.
He began as a specialist bookseller in 1950. He lectured on children's literature at the
Beatrix Potter Society. He received the Eleanor Farjeon Award and received an honorary doctorate from the University of Surrey.[2]
