Campus Beats is an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama television series on Amazon miniTV.[1][2] Produced by Deepak Dhar under the banner of Banijay Asia, the series stars Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, Tanvi Gadkari, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Harsh Dingwanii , Dhanshree Yadav, Tanya Bhushan, Teriya Magar , Gulshan Nain and Chandan K Anand .[3][4]

Amidst the chaos brewing within the enigmatic world of MAD, the University of Movement and Dance, Netra Lokhande's journey begins shrouded in a veil of secrecy. Concealed behind the guise of Netra Kumari, she steps into this vibrant institution seeking answers to the mystery of her father's death.
The halls of MAD resonate with rhythmic beats and a kaleidoscope of personalities. Netra’s day at MAD University began with an accidental paint spill on the floor but finds herself in an amusing predicament when the female restroom is locked, leading to an unexpected visit to the male restroom. As Netra hurriedly cleans her paint-stained leg in the male restroom, she unexpectedly encounters Sulekha, quickly forming an unlikely bond in the chaos. Their moment is disrupted by the imminent arrival of others, forcing them to seek refuge inside a cubicle. They soon find themselves caught in the midst of a group of boys, preparing for a confrontation against the welfare students (BGs), setting the stage for an unexpected and tense situation. While Sulekha skillfully slips out of the cubicle and makes her exit from the male restroom, Netra inadvertently immersed in the situation covertly documenting the actions of the boys to unravel secrets and tensions brewing within the university's student body to the police.
Amidst the ongoing orientation session for newcomers admitted through the welfare quota at MAD, chaos erupts as a piercing fire alarm disrupts the proceedings, sending everyone into a frenzy to evacuate the rooms. The sudden alarm sets off a whirlwind of panic, scattering students and faculty alike, shrouding the orientation in uncertainty and urgency. As the crowd converges at a designated spot during the chaos, tension thickens as the OG dance group 'Ruthless' (composed of Ishaan, Rihanna, Figo, Sam, and Neil), standing as gatekeeper of opposition, launch an aggressive proclamation. They challenge the legitimacy of the welfare students (BGs), asserting that MAD is solely for proficient dancers, insinuating that the BGs don't belong. To remain at MAD, they must prove their worth, setting the stage for a high-stakes test of skill and resilience in the face of exclusion and discrimination.
Amid the escalating tension, the instructors find themselves trapped in their classrooms, and even the principal of MAD is confined within his own office. However, the principal manages to break free and intervenes to halt the brewing conflict. Chaos erupts once more with the arrival of the police, summoned by a panicked call, further intensifying the already tumultuous situation. This adds an unexpected layer of complexity to the unfolding drama at MAD.
In the MAD girl dormitory, Kiran stumbled upon a series of photos on Netra's phone capturing the morning chaos. Instantly struck by curiosity, Kiran found herself grappling with the implications of Netra having these pictures and their potential connection to recent events. Confused yet determined, Kiran confronted Netra, seeking an explanation for the startling discovery.
Figo, Sam, and Neil are ruthlessly examining Sulekha's history at MAD despite her setbacks, while also casting suspicion on Amit due to his previous stance against ragging this morning, possibly suspecting their involvement in a protest against the BGs and police involvement. Meanwhile, Rihanna shares a moment with Ravjeet, Club Raven's owner, while Ishaan engages in flirtatious dance moves with a girl. Suddenly, Ravjeet receives a call from his fiancée, prompting a hasty departure. Ishaan intervenes, urging a tearful Rihanna to release her grip on Ravjeet. Amidst this drama, Ishaan receives a call detailing an ongoing altercation at MAD.
Amidst the escalating scrutiny on Sulekha, Netra decides to step forward. Breaking her silence, she admits to the startling revelation: it was she who made the call to the police at MAD. Her unexpected confession sends shockwaves through the already tense atmosphere, reshaping the narrative. The revelation of Netra's involvement in the call to the police becomes the tipping point in an already tense situation. As tensions escalate between Ruthless and the new BGs group — comprising Netra, Amit, Kiran, and Sulekha.
As Rihanna attempts to support her team and quell the fight, Ishaan takes a different approach. Spotting a scuffle between two inebriated instructors, he intervenes by loudly announcing, in his commanding voice, that the principal is en route, only to diffuse the situation and redirect attention away from the altercation.
The following morning, the principal faces the challenging task of disciplining Ruthless by demoting them to a beginner level. In a bid to restore MAD's tarnished reputation, the principal proposes that Team Ruthless participate in Club Raven's street dance competition. Meanwhile, Netra, who's been investigating MAD's potential involvement in her father's demise, uncovers a potential link to Club Raven, adding another layer of intrigue to the situation. Hence, Netra takes a bold stance, challenging the principal's decision to exclusively feature Ruthless in the street dance competition. Netra urges for inclusivity, advocating for opportunities for all to showcase their skills.
After a deliberation, a middle ground is reached: an intra-college dance competition will be held, providing a platform for Ruthless and Netra's new BGs group to compete. The winning team will earn the opportunity to represent MAD at the street dance competition. This decision sets the stage for a thrilling competition within MAD, fueling excitement and anticipation among the teams, as both they prepare to vie for the chance to restore MAD's prestige and compete on a larger scale.
As the dance competition draws closer, Ishaan discreetly aids Netra in assembling a team. The series was announced for Amazon miniTV.[5][6] Shantanu Maheshwari, Shruti Sinha, Tanvi Gadkari, Sahaj Singh Chahal, Dhanshree Yadav, Tanya Bhushan, Teriya Magar and Harsh Dingwanii were approached to star in the series.[7][8] The principal photography of the series commenced in 2023.[9] The trailer of the series was released on 17 September 2023 , 17 October 2023 and 05 December 2023.[10]
