The Brandenberg Alps are a mountain range in the Northern Limestone Alps, part of the Eastern Alps. They are located entirely within the Austrian state of Tyrol between the Achensee lake, the Inn valley and the Bavarian Prealps.

The boundary of the region is based on the definition of the Northern Limestone Alps and its subdivision into individual ranges according to the Alpine Club classification of the Eastern Alps (AVE). By this definition the Brandenberg Alps are bounded by the line: Ampelsbach -- Filzmoosbach -- Gufferthütte (Ludwig Aschenbrenner Hut) -- Sattelbach -- Baierache -- Erzherzog Johann Klause -- Brandenberger Ache to the Kaiserhaus -- Ellbach -- Glemmbach -- Klausbach -- River Inn from Kiefersfelden to Jenbach -- Käsbach -- Achensee -- Achenbach to its confluence with the Ampelsbach[1].
