History

Centerview was originally called Graham, and under the latter name was laid out in 1865, and named after Samuel C. Graham, the original owner of the town site.^[4] A post office called Centerview has been in operation since 1868.^[5]

Geography

Centerview is located at 38°44′45″N 93°50′44″W / 38.74583°N 93.84556°W / 38.74583; -93.84556 (38.745727, -93.845430).^[6]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.12 square miles (0.31 km²), all land.^[7]

Centerview lies on Route 58, about seven miles west of the city of Warrensburg.
