The Château de Vieillevie is a mediaeval

The original construction dates from the 11th century, with modifications in the 15th and 16th centuries. It consists of a rectangular main building - the

hoarding and machicolations. Inside, four beautiful 13th century monumental chimney places have been preserved. The rooms have ceilings covered in beams.[1]

It has been listed since 1993 as a

French Ministry of Culture.[1] The castle is open to visitors on certain days in the summer months, with candlelit tours some evenings.[2]
