David Kissane

Professor David William Kissane,

Companion of the Order of Australia.[4] Professor Kissane has been described as an "opponent of euthanasia legislation who co-authored a landmark report with Dr Nitschke into the deaths that occurred under the NT's euthanasia laws".[5]

In May 2020, he was awarded a AU$1.06 million grant for a research project on improving the care of palliative care patients with mental illness or emotional distress.[6]
