The Dr. John Cuming House is a historic house located west of Concord, Massachusetts, at 998 Elm Street, at Barretts Mill Road and Reformatory Circle.
Description and history
The 2+1⁄2-story timber-framed house was built around 1754 by John Cuming, a prominent local doctor. In addition to his role as a leading physician in the town, Cuming presided over Concord's town meetings in the turbulent years of the
Concord State Prison, and is now owned by the state.[3]
The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 11, 1977.[1]
