Adam Taim, born on April 29, 1986, is an American-Iraqi political analyst and journalist with a distinguished career spanning over a decade as a former foreign TV correspondent. His coverage has encompassed a wide array of global political events in regions including Iraq, Turkey, and the Washington DC area of the United States.


Early life, education and naval service Adam Taim was born in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, and he spent his formative years there. He received his primary, secondary, and university education at one of Baghdad’s schools in the Al-Rusafa district. At the age of ten, his father passed away, and his mother assumed the responsibility of raising him and his siblings.

Adam pursued studies in radio and television journalism at the University of Baghdad’s College of Media. During his tenure at the University of Baghdad, Adam successfully established himself in the media field by working as a television correspondent for several satellite channels in Baghdad. Subsequently, in 2009, Adam earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Baghdad.

Following his graduation, Adam intended to further his studies in English at the University of Baghdad. However, unfavorable circumstances led him to travel abroad, compelled by the deteriorating security situation in Iraq during that period.

Subsequently, Adam journeyed to Turkey, where he spent two years before eventually settling in the United States and acquiring its citizenship.

Presently, he is a committed Ph.D. candidate in International Relations at Salve Regina University, focusing on the nuances of American foreign policy with a specific emphasis on the Middle East.
