There is too much unsourced information in the article, and the inline citations needs to be moved from the references section to the body of the article. Brutality Skirmish Wargame is a RPG-Lite 28mm miniature skirmish wargame, created in 2020 by Scott "Pimpcron" Wainwright. It is a simple game where players can use any 28-32mm model they want. Players create characters out of physical 28mm miniatures, then put premade stats and upgrades that fit the character they made and its personality onto its stat sheet. Players play the game using groups called "warbands" of these models they create, and in a game, players pit these warbands against other warbands or swarms of models. There are different "modes", such as Solo Play, where players use a written logic system and "roll chart" to control an opposing warband to simulate an opponent, or the default 2+ player mode. It also is a game that only requires 10-sided dice [1][2], which adds to the game's simplicity, compared to similar wargames, which require 6-sided, 8-sided, 12-sided or 20-sided dice. The game is played in 4 separate turns, where each player activates one model at a time, until every model has been activated. Then the next turn will begin.[1][3] All of the books, with the exception being the Tales from the Brutal, are either rulebooks or "supplements", which are extra missions, game modes or storylines that are compiled in a book that can be bought separately from the Core Rulebook.

The Tales from the Brutal book is a short story/vignette compilation, unlike the other books under the Brutality Skirmish Wargame label. It is a in-universe lore book, describing different stories that happen from different viewpoints.[4]

All of the Brutality Skirmish Wargame books are available in both

hardback option.[1]

The base game system, the "free base rules" (sourced from the Core Rulebook), are available for download on the Brutality Skirmish Wargame Facebook page for free.[5]
