Sainik Kshatriya is a distinct ethnic group of marwar also known as Mandorva Rajput or Sainik Rajput[1][2]

According to sainik kshatriya claim there their origin from

Rajputs imprisoned by Shahbuddin Ghori were released through the good offices of one of the most gardners of the emperor by name baba, on promising to adopt the profession of gardening . They did so and their sub- division retain the names of the rajput clans to which they belong.[3]
According to [4] this book page 30 Conclusion - It is undisputedly proved from the above account that Sainik Rajput or ('Sainik Kshatriya) who were earlier known as
Rajputs
in every way and they should be treated accordingly.
