Simone Zaccagni (Gubbio, 4 December 1976) is an Italian writer.

His debut book, from 2018, is La noia
di un altro non vale[1], published by Alter Erebus press & label[2], with a preface by radio speakers and anchormans Marco Presta and Antonello Dose, because the book collects the various interventions made on the radio by the author during the Radio2 broadcast   “Il Ruggito del Coniglio”. Again for the same publishing house, in 2019 he published Il lato oscuro della Luna[3] (The Dark Side of the Moon), in 2020 Wilson & Io[4], in 2021 Eugubini Fantastici[5] and in December 2022 Sorrido sempre quando ti leggo[6] (I always smile when I read you), his first novel. For Futura Libri he published, together with Pier Luigi Neri, I colori della Fenice[7] (Phoenix colours) in May 2022[7]. Passionate about dialectology and lexicography, he has published a Gubbio-Italian dictionary[8] (Dizionario Eugubino-Italiano, Ed. Gubbio Oggi, 2016), as well as a collection of biographies of twenty illustrious fellow citizens, Eugubini Leggendari (Ed. Gubbio Oggi, 2017). A lover of travel and photography, between October and November 2008 he set up an exhibition with some travel photographs entitled "Viaggi & Miraggi"[9], following which a publication of the same name was also released.

Prices

In June 2019 he won the national literary prize "Il Bicicletterario"^[10] with the story "Sangue & Puffi" (Blood & Smurfs).
