History
The Phone Up Studios was founded by CEO, Felipe Vasquez on September 29, 2017. The company initially operated as “Phil’s Merch” an e-commerce on-line store, making most sales from social media influencers. In its first year in business, the company sold 12,000 products. By 2018, sales had reached USD$7.5M.[2][unreliable source?]
In 2019, Phil’s Merch merged into “Baby’s&More” an e-commerce on-line store specializing in baby-originated products. Later that year, the company launched a mobile shopping app for both IOS and Android.[3][unreliable source?]
By 2021, with the success of both entities, sales had reached USD$29M and 50,000 products sold, In the subsequent year, it initiated rebranding and restructuring efforts, transitioning into an entertainment company.[4][unreliable source?]
As of 2023, it employed 65,204 people worldwide. In 2023, the corporation alone was valued in excess of $94 million, [citation needed] making it a valuable company in the entertainment industry. Previously, in 2018, The Phone Up Studios was valued at $7.5 million.[citation needed]
On December 11, 2023, The Phone Up Studios announced its acquisition of Hell, Michigan, with CEO, Felipe Vasquez assuming the role of official mayor.[5][unreliable source?]
