History
Welcome Italia S.p.A. was founded by brothers Stefano and Giovanni Luisotti in 1998 and the following year, in 1999, it obtained the license to become a national telephone operator.
In 2006, it acquired a 67% share of Vola S.p.A., a Viareggio company that offers mass SMS sending services.
On April 22, 2016, the company announced the acquisition of 51% of Colt Engine S.r.l., operator of hosting and Internet domain registration services, which has now become Host S.p.A.[4] In the same year, it also acquired 40% of NetResults S.r.l. which offers VoIP, MoIP, Unified Communication and Collaboration and IoT solutions.
