Edwin Sill Fussell
Edwin Sill Fussell, Ph.D. (July 4, 1922 – August 27, 2002) was a professor of English literature at the University of California, San Diego. He was the elder brother of Paul Fussell.
Early life
Fussell was born in
Ph.D. from Harvard University
in 1949.
Career
Fussell first taught at the
Claremont Graduate School, Fussell joined the faculty of UC San Diego. He retired in 1991.[2]
Retirement
During his retirement, Fussell lived in
Balzac. Fussell died in August 2002 in La Jolla, CA.[3]
