Summary

Description Ex-Chicago trolley bus 9553, built in 1951 by Marmon-Herrington, in passenger service at the Illinois Railway Museum in 2008. It is running on a section of two-way single-track overhead wire, which has subsequently been rebuilt with two "tracks" (two sets of overhead wires, one for each direction of travel). The Chicago trolley bus system closed in 1973.
