This particularly image has been used by multiple media outlets who have reported on the character, and has thus become synonymous with the character. It also shows Miles Morales as he was first illustrated by Sara Pichelli, one of the co-creators of the character, which provides the image an additional educational value. All of these elements of Miles Morales are discussed in critical commentary within the article.
