Nyckelord: Gravfynd, 700-talet, Keramik, Kineser, Figurer
Description
Svenska: FIGUR. Gravfynd. Two earthenware figures of female attendants with coloured lead glazes Tang dynasty, early 8th centuryIV B.a.a.4 and 5These two ladies were originally part of a large group of servants that would have accompanied their master and mistress into the afterlife. Tang dynasty fashion changed quickly, and robes with high waists and long stoles, plus hairstyles featuring ornate, asymmetrical buns, were current in the early 8th century. They resemble dated tomb paintings such as those in the grave of Prince Li Xian near Xi’an, dated 706.
