"Publicada por cuidados del Señor Mendes, Gefe de Batallon de los Ingenieros Franceses, Caballero del Orden Imperial de la Legion de Honor y segun las ordenes del Excellentissimo Presidente de la Republica Dominicana." Copy imperfect: Shellacked, cracked, brittle, major losses along edges, and mounted on cloth backing. Includes notes, inset map of "Plan de la ciudad de Santo Domingo y de suyos contornos," and distance tables. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. |
