Onterecht. Zeker in deze kleurrijke en geïnspireerde uitvoering.Nicolas Achten en Scherzi Musicali gaan vaak aan de slag met composities die in de plooien van de geschiedenis verdwenen zijn. Zelfverzekerd, bevlogen en onbevangen. Werk van beroemdheden als Kapsberger in Venetië en Sances in Wenen. Of van meer obscure figuren als Saracini uit Siena en Salvatore uit het vurige Napels. Elke compositie ontwikkelt een duidelijke en strakke muzikale logica. Extra aandacht voor de nuances en emoties in de tekst leiden tot erg pakkende resultaten. De muziek spreekt aan en ontplooit zich in krachtige tragedie. Français : « Stabat Mater », l'évocation de la Mère éplorée, est un texte poignant qui semble inspirer de véritables joyaux à de nombreux compositeurs.
