Summary

Description
English: The Greek god Triton, who has a human torso and a fish-tailed lower body; the Dionysian motif of youth holding a leather pouch flled with wine; or cupids bearing garlands of flowers. 2nd-3rd century.

Some of the iconography and motifs of Gandharan art reveal its diverse cultural influences from the ancient Mediterranean art.
