Fort Santo Angel was a Spanish fortress on the island of

Acapulco, Mexico (then part of New Spain). Perched on a monolith, there remains a plaza 40 by 24 feet (12.2 m × 7.3 m) of flagstone surrounded by a manposteria (coral mixed with cement) wall 1 foot (30 cm) high and 18 inches (46 cm) thick. The remains of a guardroom and a second, smaller platform, lie to its west.[2]
