Broke was born in 1946, son of

3rd Regiment, Royal Horse Artillery 1987–1989. He became a Colonel 30 June 1990. Since 1996 he has been the Director of the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions[1]
Broke has been a member of the Corps of Gentlemen at Arms
since 22 February 1997 and retired as its Lieutenant.
He was appointed
Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (CVO) in the 2016 Birthday Honours.[2]
In 1978 he married Patricia T Shann.[3] They have one son.
His family seat is Holme Hale, Norfolk.
