Glenwood is a town in Union Township, Rush County and in Orange and Fairview townships, Fayette County in the U.S. state of Indiana.^[2] The population was 250 at the 2010 census.

History

Glenwood was originally called Vienna, and under the latter name was laid out in 1882.^[4] The Glenwood post office has been in operation since 1874.^[5]

According to the 2010 census, Glenwood has a total area of 0.18 square miles (0.47 km²), all land.^[6]

The median age in the town was 45.5 years. 22.4% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.6% were from 25 to 44; 30.8% were from 45 to 64; and 20.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the town was 45.6% male and 54.4% female.
