Career
Statia was previously active in the
Lancaster Barnstormers after the 2010 season,[2] but was transferred to the Milwaukee Brewers
before the start of the 2011 season.
He was also a member of the Netherlands national baseball team at the 2007 European Baseball Championship, 2014 France International Baseball Tournament ,[3] and 2014 European Baseball Championship.[4]
On January 26, 2017, Statia was introduced as the
Class A Midwest League minor league affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.[5]
As of 2019, Statia is a roving instructor in the Brewers system.
