Hermann W. Dommel
Hermann W. Dommel (born 1933, Germany) received his
Technical University in Munich.[1]
"In the 1960s he pioneered the foundation for the Medal in Power Engineering.[2]
Since 1973, he has been with the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada,
where he is currently Professor Emeritus.[3]
The
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, from 1995 to 2000.[4]
Early life and education
Born in Germany in 1933, Hermann earned his Dipl.Ing. and Dr.Ing. degrees in
Bonneville Power Administration in Portland, OR, USA from 1966 to 1973. Currently, he is a Professor Emeritus at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, Canada, where he has been since 1973.[5]
