Modern Icelandic: Hjörleifur Hróðmarsson [ˈçœrˌleiːvʏr ˈr̥ouðˌmar̥sˌsɔːn]; Modern Norwegian: Leif Rodmarsson[1]) was an early settler in Iceland. The story of the early settlement of Iceland is told in the compilation known as Landnámabók.[2]
