Production

The development on the film began in late 2016, with the working title of The Trial. It reported that the film which is set against the backdrop of

Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 will have Sadia Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar as leads. It marked the second on-screen appearance of Khan and Zulfiqar after 2014 TV series Laa. Resham, Aly Khan and Shamoon Abbasi were revealed to be the supporting cast.[7][8][9]

Initially planned to release theatrically in March 2017, it was postponed due to the extended schedules of the shooting. It was again decided to release in 2020, which delayed due to
