Baja California Peninsula. The island is uninhabited and is part of the La Paz Municipality
.
Biology
Isla Cayo has two species of
Phyllodactylus nocticolus (peninsular leaf-toed gecko), and Urosaurus nigricauda (black-tailed brush lizard).[1]
