Jay Bista (born 23 December 1995) is an Indian

off break. He represented Mumbai at the Under-16 and Under-19 levels before making his first-class cricket debut in November 2015 during the 2015–16 Ranji Trophy.[1] He made his List A debut on 10 December 2015 in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy.[2] He scored his maiden first-class century on 6 March 2016 in the 2015–16 Irani Cup.[3]

On becoming the first person of Nepalese origin to play for Mumbai, Bista said, "My roots could be from Nepal but I am a hardcore Mumbaikar, who is born and brought up in Mumbai."[5]
