James Murray Boyd (29 April 1907 – 22 March 1991) was a Scottish professional

Born in
1932 and earned one cap for Scotland, in 1933;[4] however, the result was a defeat to Ireland[5] and he was one of five in the Scottish team who were not selected for international duty again.[6]
Boyd joined
Second World War.[4] He remained a registered Grimsby player until 1946. He scouted for Newcastle and Middlesbrough after his playing retirement.[4]
