John Alexander MacDonell (November 22, 1854 – October 27, 1912) was a
Canadian
politician.
Born in
Liberal
candidate for the riding of Lorne. He was defeated in 1888.
In 1896, he was elected to the House of Commons of Canada for the electoral district of Selkirk. A Liberal, he did not run in 1900 because of ill health.
He died in Kingston, Ontario in 1912.
