John Kitson
John Francis Kitson (9 March 1818 – 29 July 1907) was an English cleric and cricketer, an alumnus of Exeter College, Oxford.[1]
Born in
pair – two scores of zero – against the Marylebone Cricket Club who were victorious by 47 runs.[4]
Kitson became vicar of Antony, Cornwall.[1] He died in Torpoint, Cornwall.[2] In 1866 he married Charlotte Henrietta Edmonstone, daughter of William Edmonstone.[5] They had eight sons and four daughters.[6]
