John Marshall (born May 2, 1954) is an American

percussionist. He has worked with many musicians including David Darling,[1] George Benson, Benjamin Verdery,[2] and the Paul Winter Consort

Professional career

Marshall includes the drumming traditions of the Middle East, North and South India, Egypt, West Africa, the Caribbean, and Central Asia in his repertoire. Performing on

In 2009, he received a national fellowship award from the Jubilation Foundation.[3]
