Josiah Charles Hughes

Josiah Charles Hughes (May 5, 1843[1] – November 8, 1886[2]) was a political figure in British Columbia. He represented New Westminster District in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1871 until his retirement at the 1875 provincial election. He served as the first deputy speaker of the Legislature in 1872. His first name also appears as Josias.
