Personal life
Terry was born in
defence studies in 2012.[4]
Terry was commissioned into the
Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2017 New Year Honours.[11]
Terry was promoted to commodore on 8 March 2021.[12] She then served as Deputy Director People at Navy Command.[13] She was promoted to rear admiral on 12 January 2022,[14] becoming the first woman to hold that rank in the Royal Navy.[1] In January 2022, she was appointed Director People and Training and Naval Secretary.[2][13]
