Baba Kartik Oraon (born 29 October 1924 – 8 December 1981)Indian freedom movement of 1947. He founded the Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikas Parishad organisation.[3]
Early life
He was born in a village named Karounda Littatoli in
Kartik of the Hindu calendar.[3]
Education
After completing high school in
Oraon Sadri and Kurukh languages.[6]
Political career
He held several official positions and represented Lohardaga constituency in the
Lohardaga constituency and was seen as a national hero for the Kurukh people. He was also known by the name of Baba Kartik Saheb.[8]
