According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.73 square miles (1.89 km2); 0.32 square miles (0.83 km2) is land and 0.41 square miles (1.06 km2) is water.[5] County 18 serves as a main route.

The average household size was 2.66 and the average family size was 3.10.
The median age in the city was 46.6 years. 22.8% of residents were under the age of 18; 5.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 19.5% were from 25 to 44; 42.5% were from 45 to 64; and 9.6% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 50.2% male and 49.8% female.
