Love Is the Monster is an upcoming Canadian horror thriller film written and directed by Alex Noyer.[1] It tells the story of troubled couples who head to a groundbreaking retreat in Finland, where they fall prey to a malevolent ancient goddess of love. The film stars Madeline Zima, Kristina Tonteri-Young, Leonardo Nam and Sheila McCarthy.[1][2][3]
XYZ Films is handling film's North American rights[2] and it launched sales at Toronto International Film Festival.[1][3]
Plot
Ana (
shaman and healer, Tiina (Milla Puolakanaho), inspired by Lempo, the ancient goddess of love and fertility from the Finnish mythology
. But the idyllic setting soon takes a turn.
