The Lusk Water Tower was built in 1886 to provide water for

Union Pacific.[2]

The wooden tower is round, with a diameter of about 25 feet (7.6 m). The tank is about 25 feet (7.6 m) high on a 25-foot (7.6 m) base. The structure is believed to be composed of

redwood. It is the only surviving structure of its kind in Wyoming.[2]

The water tower was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.[1]
