Marques Harris (born September 20, 1981) is a former

undrafted free agent in 2005. He played college football at Southern Utah
.

Harris has also played for the San Francisco 49ers.

Early years

Harris played

wrestler, winning a state title in the 189-pound weight class as a senior.[2]

He also played baseball as a catcher and outfielder.[citation needed]

Great West Football Conference after recording 68 tackles and 11 sacks.[citation needed
]

Professional career

First stint with Chargers

After not getting drafted in the

special teams and as a pass rushing specialist. He is also known for doing a backflip after getting a sack.[4][5]

San Francisco 49ers

Harris was signed by the San Francisco 49ers on April 30, 2009.[6] He was waived on October 27.[7]

Second stint with Chargers

Harris was re-signed by the Chargers on December 1, 2009.[8]

Personal life

Harris founded a non-profit organization called Athletes for CARE in January 2017.[9] He is a certified life coach and would regularly speak at public events through his organization.[10] He also works as a real-estate agent.[11]
