Bangladesh Awami League politician and the former Jatiya Sangsad member from the Sirajganj-2
constituency.

Early life

Millat was born on 15 January 1966. He obtained his MBBS degree from the Mymensingh Medical College in Bangladesh and FRCS degree from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is also trained in Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery[2] from Europe's leading hospitals and in Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Career

Millat was re-elected as a member of the Bangladesh Parliament

Inter Parliamentary Union in June 2015.[5]
He has a number of scientific articles published in international medical journals.

On 26 November 2023, Awami League announced the final list of its 298 candidates to contest the 2024 national election which did not include Millat.[6]
