Milagros de la Torre is an artist based in New York who works with photographic media.[1] De la Torre teaches at the Pratt Institute MFA Photography Program.[2]
Her work is a part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art[3] in New York. De la Torre was named the Wolf Chair in Photography (Fall 2023) at the Cooper Union, New York.[4] She is a part of the Advisory Board at the Penumbra Foundation in New York.[5]
Awards and honors
De la Torre received the
Smithsonian Artist Fellowship Award in 2021.[10]
