Moniteau Creek is a

U. S. Route 40 and entering the Missouri River just south of Rocheport.[2]

The stream source is at 39°21′19″N 92°27′20″W / 39.35528°N 92.45556°W / 39.35528; -92.45556 and the confluence is at 38°58′26″N 92°33′59″W / 38.97389°N 92.56639°W / 38.97389; -92.56639.[1]

Moniteau Creek derives its name from the Indian term Manitou.[3]
