2020 census.[3] The township was named after Newton, Massachusetts.[4]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.4 square miles (94.2 km2), of which 36.0 square miles (93.2 km2) is land and 0.39 square miles (1.0 km2), or 1.04%, is water.[5]

The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females, there were 96.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.3 males.
