Ng Chin-Keong (
Chinese History at the National University of Singapore until his retirement in 2006. He was also the Director of the Chinese Heritage Centre between 2004 and 2006. He is a Singapore citizen by birth and obtained his B.A. in history from the Nanyang University. After working as a teacher for several years, he completed his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his Ph.D. in Chinese history at the Australian National University where he was a student of Wang Gungwu.[1]
